Project Brief: Create a short video that critically engages with one topic from Media Theory and Practice course (Taken during my Masters)

Solutions + Lessons Learned: For this assignment, I wanted to create something that commented on current events and their portrayal in the media. Lucky for me, this project was assigned in the midst of the government shutdown of 2025, which ended up being a media circus! Over the course of the 3 weeks I had to complete this project, I learned how to keep up with the pace of breaking news and add in information as new things came up!

My favorite part: I am a huge fan of Vox Media (especially the Explained series), so I loved pulling inspiration from their signature style!
