My Contribution: Production Designer, 2nd Shooter, Editor

Project Brief: While working at Little Fish Productions, The Budget Mom’s monthly YouTube Budget Recap videos were one of my main assignments. The main goal was to cut different camera angles to show Kumiko on camera as well as her budgeting tools and products in use!

Solutions + Lessons Learned: As these videos usually had quick turnarounds, I learned how to edit very quickly using the multi-cam setup!

My Favorite Part: When I started working on this YouTube series, I was fresh out of college and entirely financially responsible for myself for the first time. Working on The Budget Mom’s videos was not only a great intro into my career as a storyteller, but also inspired me to implement her methods to help me budget!
